What I know about them:
They both have an updated 3D/2D-ish look. In Pearl, the legendary pokemon, Palkia, has the abillity to warp space, while Diamond's variant, Dialga, can warp time. The touch screen will be used for battling and other stuff along with Nintendo Wi-Fi. Developers of the games finally brought back the day/night transition from the old Gold and Silver editions and made it more complex. There are over 100 new pokemon. Your 3 starter pokemon are Chimchar, the fire type, Piplup, the water type, and Turtwig, the grass type. Mysterious tunnels will be located beneath the new region, Sinnoh. If you reserve a copy, you'll get a special stylius with either Dialga or Palkia, depending on which version you reserve.

I actuallly care about pokemon. I just haven't played it in a while. And I did not copy this from NP, I did some research (how else would I get the links). And if you're getting both ,just vote for which one you think is cooler.

I didn't want to create a seprate thread about this, but it's not way off topic. A special Pokemon Pearl and Diamond edition of the cobalt DS was released in Japan.

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me, is Palkia and Dialga, because space and time are the same exact thing.

Time: I can change my watch so that it is 1963

Space: If I get a new Wii game, I have less space in my game carrying case.
